I installed this to get a feel for what my son is going to want to do when he gets back from grandma’s house. I don’t get it. I had to resort to YouTube videos to get some instructions. So far, here’s what I’ve seen.

Animals randomly appear and you have to swipe at them. You can drive around and find supplies at local paper is, churches, and strip clubs. No joke, the fat cat saloon is an official stop. The nearest ‘gym’ is at a park in a bad area. We won’t be stopping there. Every gym is filled with players from a different team and they all kick my butt. I have no idea how to fight.

Ha, yes, was just driving the teen and her boyfriend around, and he had it installed. Amusing as we’d pull up to locations or other cars and he’d call out if people were playing.

According to him, there’s a gym at the park across the street from our house.

The thing that stinks is that we have to drive to get anywhere interesting. One of the videos showed something on every block. I'm guessing that guy was in New York City.

It's started out as an eevee that was around 240. Maxed it out and then evolved. Apparently it doesn't matter if you evolve or level up first. But it seems to be cheaper if you start with a high level

I've been reading up on it but nothing definitive. Some people say no effect others say evolve early and just as many say evolve after maxing.
